Julie Abadie, born 1947, Athens, studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués in Paris, the Cleveland Institute of Art, and at the Society of Illustrators in New York. In 1969, Robert Dumas, the owner of Hermès, drew attention to her talent. For over 40 years Julie Abadie has been creating motifs for Hermès scarves. Many of her works are inspired by Greek cultural heritage and the historical collection of the Benaki Museum, as well as the colors that characterize the Greek sea and the sensual forms in the water.Show more
