H.L. Leonard Bi-Metal Raised Pillar Trout Reel

With a diameter of 2 3/8" (measured pillar to pillar) and a 13/16" wide spool, this reel features nickel silver side plates and a bronze frame. This first model with "Pat. Jun.12.1877" markings has a full-length cast bronze foot and crisp sounding constant click. The handle grasp on this example is a bit unusual in that is marbleized, similar to those found on Philbrook & Paine reels. Condition is about VG+ due to a bit of a "wave" to one foot end on this otherwise nice, uncleaned example.
