Peeping Tom cover by Don Heck, grist for the mill of postwar paranoia. The fear of being observed by hidden lurkers is exploited on a number of pre-Code covers, and seems to have been a go-to emblem of menace for Iger Shop editor Ruth Roche, who may have had a hand in the creation of this issue's cover and contents.
