HUGHES BIRMINGHAM HAMMER DOUBLE BARREL 12 BORE

Serial #28532. Barrel length26". This double hammer gun has Birmingham proofs and Hughes is stamped on both side locks. The action has exposed hammers, features game scene and border engraving, is nitro proofed with double triggers. Pistol grip checkered walnut stock with cap and horn butt-plate. Splinter fore-end has horn tip and is checkered. Barrels retain about 90% dulling blue. All other metal is gun metal gray. Stocks are excellent with thinning on checkering and minor impressions with an easy fix hairline stress crack near toe. Bores are clean and lock up is tight Early English double. C&R
