Condition Report:
Overall in very good condition. An incredible piece of craftsmanship and a very large model produced by the designer, this bench presents with rich contrast and texture to the wood when seen in person that is representative of the artist’s body of work. The wood presents with irregularities and variegated hues that are inherent to the material. The surface with occasional and scattered scratches, splits and checks to the wood which are either inherent or consistent with the evolution of the medium. One back side and one corner of the seating area with two red stains to the surface, the largest area measuring approximately 5 x 5 inches and not visually distracting. A monumental and highly sculptural piece ready for display.
