Nomadic rug produced in the Fars area (Iran) and marketed in Hamadan. Knotted with 100% wool. It has about 60,000 knots per square metre. The geometry of these rugs, whether they be medallion or herringbone, makes them very different to the rest of the area. To fabricate them, they use a Persian knot on the warp and double woof made of cotton with wool native to the area. Exported from Iran before 2015.
