Hand chased sterling silver hot beverage service by Durham, New York City, circa 1950, comprising: (1) coffee pot, (1) teapot, (1) creamer, (1) open sugar and (1) waste bowl, of traditional form, the coffee pot having an acorn finial on the hinged lid above a trumpet neck flanked by a spout and an acanthus topped handle with bone stops, the upper portion of the body bright polished and centering a monogram, the lower part having melon form chasing, the whole rising on a circular foot, maker marked and stamped 'Sterling,' coffee pot, 9"h x 6"w x 10"d; total sterling weight 2,515 grams inclusive of bone stops.
