Hand mirror - Patinated bronze, Stone (mineral stone)

An unusual, well-carved Chinese hand mirror in patinated bronze frame with jade-coloured hard stone handle and ditto oval carving, ca 1950, ca 3. 5 cm. high, 19 cm. long and 6. 8 cm. wide.

The frame decorated in relief with pearls and floral tendrils, the attachment with a flower in relief and two fish, the dragon-shaped handle made from a clothes hook and decorated with silkworms, the openwork oval carving depicting a mermaid-like woman surrounded by stylized waves and clouds, in good condition.
