Hand signed photograph print by 19th President of Mexico Mariano Arista (1802-1855 ).José Mariano Martà n Buenaventura Ignacio Nepomuceno Garcà a de Arista Nuez (26 July 1802 – 7 August 1855) was a noted veteran of many of Mexico's nineteenth-century wars. He served as president of Mexico from 15 January 1851 to 6 January 1853. Dimensions: 14" x 15.75". PROVENANCE - Robert (Bob) N. Green began collecting in the NYC area inn the 1950s. Originally he ran ads in the Shotgun News for antique firearms. He worked as a chemical engineer for Rexall Drug and Chemical Co. which at that time owned Tupperware.His job sent him to Mexico in 1963 to build the Tupperware Factory in Lerma, Estado de Mexico. After the factory was finished he and his family moved to Mexico City and Bob ran the factory until his death in 1986. Bob spent every Sunday and La Lagunilla Market also known as the Thieve’s Market where he bought a large variety of antique items. He was the best know antique buyer at the market.This collection has been in storage for the last 33 years and his family have decided to sell it.
