Handel #6778 Table Lamp.

Handel lamp has obverse painted band of stylized orange flowers with scrolling stylized green leaves all set against an amber colored background with chipped ice finish. Shade is signed on the interior rim "HANDEL 6778" along with artist initials "M. P.". The shade rests on an original Handel base with octagonal body resting on an oriental design open work foot. The base supports a three-socket cluster and fleur-de-lis cap. The base is finished in rich brown and is unsigned. Shade has a tight hairline descending from the shade ring. Base is very good with some minor wear to finish, rewired with contemporary plastic cord. Condition: Dimensions: Shade: 18" Dia. Base: 23" H x 7" W.
