Ito Manyo (1921-1970) was a Nihonga painter born in Tokyo. He was the second son of the famous Japanese-style painter Ito Shinsui. He studied under his father. Ito Manyo become a prestigious artist during Showa period, specialized in modern portraits and bird-and-flower paintings. He received many awards. In the pursuit of beauty in his creations, hydrangea was common motif. Roller ends: wood.
