Uda Tekison (1896-1980) was one of leading Nihonga painter in the Kyoto art circle during the Taisho (1912-1926) and early Showa (1926-1989) eras. He first studied under Kikuchi Hobun and later graduated from the Kyoto Specialist School of Painting and became a pupil of Kikuchi Keigetsu. Tekison was perhaps more well-known for his kacho-ga and landscape paintings. With original signed and sealed tomobako. Roller ends: resin.
