Honolulu Paid All Jul. 9" (1873) double-circle datestamp on cover to Miss Lane in London, England, used with horizontal pair of United States 3c Green, H. Grill (136), clear grills at upper right of each stamp, tied by bold circle of Vs handstamp, magenta "San Francisco Cal. Jul. 22 Paid" datestamp, red London Paid datestamp, some slight toning around perfs, Very Fine, a rare franking for the 6c plus 6c treaty rates to England via U.S., especially with the grilled issue, ex Peters where the pair described as ungrilled, P.F. certificate 65487 no longer accompanies
