Because of the three-legged stool reminding of the "wabalenga" figural type of ivory. Since this figure is made of wood and has two heads, a connection with the "sakimatwematwe" type is also possible.
Biebuyck suggests that these multiheaded figures "sakwimatwematwe" ("Mr. Many-Heads") symbolize the ability of the high-level "bwami" members to see in many different directions and to be wise and fair minded.
