After a workshop was built in the idyllic village of Kapp and staff were hired, the company grew steadily and became one of the leading Norwegian souvenir makers. Henning contributed to the tradition of Norwegian woodcarving and continued to draw inspiration from nature and folklore. Engelsen remained the creative source for Henning throughout his life and passed the company on to his three daughters.
