Heuer, Swiss, "Temporada", Ref. 733809, Cal. Val. 7733, 41 x 42 mm, circa 1972 An extremely rare, newly revised vintage wristwatch with chronograph, tachy and pulsation scale Case: black fibreglass, gold plated bezel, push back. Dial: gilt. Firmly in the tradition of the Heuer concept, the watch takes its name from a series of races that were held in Argentina during the Formula One off-season. The "Temporada" chronographs feature a manual wind calibre with two registers. The fiberglass cases are built as monocoques, a system in which a load i.e., the movement - is supported by the outside shell. To access the movement, the crystal is removed so that the movement can be taken out from the front (instead of removing the case back as usual). The Temporada has a metal bezel and was introduced as an "economy" model because it was less expensive than the other Heuer chronographs such as Autavia, Carrera or Monaco; today the Temporada is a highly sought-after collector s piece. Case: very good, slightly worn. Dial: very good. Movm.: very good, capable of running.
