Size 10.9X7.8 Feet, Made Of Fine Quality Baby Lamb'S Wool Pile On Cotton Foundation, All Natural Vegetable Dye, Incorporating An Elegant Floral Pattern On A Rich Red Background, Eye Catching Large Central Medallion, Detailed Four Corner Crown Placements, And Contrasted Beautifully With An Intricate Floral Border. Handwoven By A Master Persian Carpet Weaver In Tabriz, Iran. The Approximate Year Of Origin 1975-1985. Tabriz Rugs Are Distinguished By Their Excellent Weave And By Their Remarkable Adherence To The Classical Traditions Of Persian Rug Design. But They Cannot Be Distinguished By Any Particular Pattern Or By Their Coloration. The City Of Tabriz, In Northwest Iran (Persia), Was The Earliest Capital Of The Safavid Dynasty, And It Can Claim To Have Been A Center Of Carpet Production Longer Than Any Other City In Iran.
