Hobo Angel, Burger King, Antony Micallef

[ translate ]

Antony Micallef
b. 1975
Hobo Angel, Burger King

signed Antony Micallef and dated 06 (on the reverse)
oil, acrylic and pencil on canvas
unframed: 80.3 by 100cm.; 31½ by 39½in.
Executed in 2006.

Condition Report:
This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals some very fine tension cracks running intermittently along all four extreme edges and some minute and unobtrusive media accretions to the lower right and centre left of the composition. Further close inspection reveals some light handling marks in places along all four edges, and a few very small spots of wear in places to the extreme edges. There are a few extremely short and fine networks of cracks in isolated places to the white paint, most notably in the upper and lower right quadrants, towards the centre of the left edge and alongside the lower edge of the work. All other surface irregularities, drying cracks and media accretions appear to be in keeping with the artist's choice of media. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
