Holy Family - Folk Art - Earthenware, Glass, Textiles, Wood - end 800 early 900
A beautiful Sacred Family with four characters: St. Anne, St. Joachim, Our Lady as a child and one angel, leaning on a plastered and gilded wooden base. The sculptures were produced by the great craftsmen of the Neapolitan school with head, hands and feet in terracotta, glass eyes, bust in straw and iron. Early 20th century. State of preservation: all in good condition, until recently they were kept under a glass bell which later broke. Some clothes deteriorated over time and have been replaced. Please note: a small chip on the Saint's forehead and nose, a restoration on one hand of the angel (see photo) . Dimensions (also shown in photos) : max. height 50 cm (including base) , wooden base approx. 19 x 23 x 5 cm. Please, look at the pictures for a proper impression of the items condition
