The map is titled "Map of the Sacramento Land District Showing Vacant, Government Lands," and shows the available property from the border with Oregon to the northern portion of Fresno County, with a large inset map of California locating the land in question. The map measures 67x48 cm. OCLC locates only two copies of the pamphlet, at the University of California Davis and Southern Methodist University.
