Hood ornament - Mack - Art deco hood ornament for a Mack truck - 1930-1940

A ca. 1932 art deco hood ornament from a Mack truck fixed on the original radiator cap

The hood ornament was designed around 1931 and is marked Mack Patent Design No. 87931

Reference: Mascottes Automobiles by Michel Legrand figure no. 751 (See the last two images)

Measuring ca. 14 cm in height and weighing 1008g

Condition - Some where to the chrome plating and filing marks to the base where the hinges has been removed
Otherwise very good with marks and wear commensurate with age
