Huanghuali Rectangular Waisted Kang Table

Possibly Late Ming / Early Qing Dynasty

With two-board mitered top set within a thick rectangular frame, above a narrow waist with two-incense stick beading and shaped aprons carved at the center with stylized drop-pendant volutes, the whole raised on four elegantly curved square cabriole legs with protruding beading on the upper section and ending in Ruyi-carved feet.

Condition: One-half of the carved drop-pendant is missing on one side, 20th century varnish is partially deteriorated, abrasions, nicks commensurate with age.
