This gouache depicts a forest scene. Trees, a river, above which to the left and right a water spout in the shape of a snake's head with sharp teeth. More down three animal heads with open mouths, round teeth. Animals, birds and snakes are depicted, usually two of each facing each other, referring to mating time. In the foreground a mating deer on the left and a deer, deer and young on the right. In the centre two birds facing each other.
