Condition Report:
Overall the condition of the marble is good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is natural veining to the marble, including at the helmet and the proper right side of the neck. There are some well concealed restorations, including to the bottom of the helmet at the front, all of the snakes’ heads, and possibly also the face. There are some natural inclusions, with fill, to the proper right side of the nose and the proper right cheek and to the hair on the proper left side. There is what appears to be some bluish residue above the lips on the proper left side.
