Lanckoronska/Oehler II, 35. - Copy with interesting provenance. On the front endpaper, with an autograph dedication by Hans Caspar Escher (1775–1859): "To my dear daughter - Anna Escher - a memento from her father C. Escher in Felsenhof / on Ascension Day, May 12, 1836." - The later entrepreneur Escher had trained as an architect in Rome under Friedrich Weinbrenner during his stay in Italy from 1794 to 1797. - Minor foxing and light browning of the pages. The binding is in good condition.
