Diameter: 32 mm. By F. Speranza. Mintage: 2,325. Obverse: Bust of Vittorio Emanuele III left, "Regia Zecca" (Royal Mint) inscribed under neck truncation and "VITTORIO EMANUELE III RE D'ITALIA" in legends surrounds; Reverse: "CINA / 1900-1901" inside wreath of two laurel branches, tied with ribbon. Given to civilians and members of the army and navy who had taken part in the military expeditions against the Boxers in China from 1900 to no later than December 31, 1901.
