A story from the old Javanese Tantri Kamandaka is painted. At the bottom left is a small lake, in which a turtle lives. He is friends with a couple of geese, Cakrangga and his wife Cankranggi. He complains about the drought. The geese promise that they can take him to a better place in the Himalayas where there is a large lake. The geese have a stick. They will take the ends in their mouths and the turtle has to take the middle of its mouth and especially not start talking when they are flying. The turtle follows the advice. Then there is flying. They fly over a field and are spotted by a jackal couple. The female says: 'Look how a tortoise can fly through geese'. Then the little man says: 'What you say is wrong, it is a cow pie that they take for their goose cubs'. The turtle feels offended and becomes angry, he opens his mouth to say something, but falls down. Then he is eaten by the jackals. In the story it is about a turtle couple, but in the drawing only one turtle is shown.
