Imperial German Mauser Model 1898 Bayonet
Imperial German Mauser Model 1898 Bayonet, complete with its wooden two piece slab grips. Steel eagle head top pommel and cross guard, stamped ‘10750’. Housed in its steel and leather mounted scabbard which has been treated with a leather oil. Mounted to the scabbard is a reproduction leather bayonet frog. Pipe back blade with fuller to the back edge. Stamped to the forte “SIMSON & Co SUHL”. Some surface staining to the blade but generally not bad condition.
