Important Letter by the Rebbe of Tsyeshanov [Brooklyn] – "I am an Israeli Living in this State"

An interesting and important letter handwritten and signed by the Rebbe Rabbi Shalom Yechezkel Sheraga Rabin Halberstam of Tsyeshanov, Brooklyn. Elul, 1956.
The letter writes to Rabbi Yisrael Porat: "… although I am not from the Land of Israel, but I am an Israeli living in this state and in my livelihood I am like someone living abroad … unfortunately, I cannot by the books … therefore I ask that he honor us with his compositions Mavoh Hatalmud…"
