In the manner of Elkington & Co. - Center Piece on Putto supports (6.2kg) - Victorian - Bronze (gilt) - Late 19th century

This is about a phenomenal and exclusive bronze gilded centre piece also called milieu-de-table. Made entirely of bronze which is in turn completely electrically gilded. The whole is beautifully finished in detail, note the putti that carry the whole finished with mythical creatures as handles. The base has an open-worked base and rests on lion's feet. Made in England, ca 1880, Victorian period. Condition: in beautiful condition, very well finished in detail. On the left side there is a small piece of curl missing, see photo no 4.
