- First quire loose; folio I w. sm. tear in text; 2nd part: C3 and C4 w. inkstain in text; occas. fingersoiled and wormholed; first 2 leaves of the Canon printed on vellum (incl. the full-p. woodcut by Lucas van Leyden). One clasp broken; rebacked; spine-ends dam.

= Medieval manuscript vellum leaves (rubricated in red and blue and with two capitals w. scrolled decoration) used as pastedowns; Nijhoff-Kronenberg 1531 (19 copies extant); for the Lucas van Leyden woodcut see New Hollstein 205c: "impressions on parchment.
