Condition Report:
Angel facing right: Craquelure, surface dirt and uneven varnish throughout. There are two cracks largest approx. 10cm running diagonally from the upper left corner. Further vertical cracking with associated cupping, flaking and loss throughout predominantly to the left half of the panel. Rubbing with associated losses to the framing edges. Inspection under UV reveals scattered retouching throughout together with a green cloudy masking varnish. Angel facing left: Craquelure, surface dirt and uneven varnish throughout. Further vertical cracking with associated cupping, flaking and loss throughout predominantly to the right half of the panel. Rubbing with associated losses to the framing edges. Inspection under UV reveals retouching throughout and traces of a green cloudy varnish. Would recommend viewing.
