Italian, Three-Arm floor lamp
Italian
Three-Arm floor lamp
c. 1950
chrome-plated brass, enameled aluminum, marble, enameled steel, leather
35 w × 35 d × 65 h in (89 × 89 × 165 cm)
Recent scholarship suggests that this model, with a marble base, is a period variant of Arredoluce's Three Arm Floor lamp, produced by a different company.
Signed with impressed manufacturer's mark to cap 'Made Italy'.
Condition Report: Wired for American outlets, with each fixture functioning when tested. One pommel has been replaced bearing a more matte appearance in comparison. Leather has been expertly updated as needed. Each shade exhibits minor surface wear, with small losses, all associated with contact through normal use. All articulated points function when tested with the exception of white shade which refuses to tighten and hold position. Minor soiling to base while remaining free of any visible losses to marble. Good vintage condition.
