This work was completed by a large group of artists, informants and collaborators led by Georg Braun (1541-1622) . Original drawings by various authors, in particular Joris Hoefnagel (aka Georg Hoefnagel or Hufnagel) , a Flemish painter who visited many countries to draw his panoramic views. Frans Hogenberg was commissioned to create most of the plates. Printed on a 41x54cm sheet
