Description: City map of Halle with the exact location of the Saale river and an index of 90 important places in the city, which are described with numbers on the map. Below the map are several small illustrations. The salt production in the salt works can be seen on the far left: "Cross-section of a salt kiln, as seen from the inside." Next to it, the extraction from the salt well can be seen: "Illustration of the salt well, called Teutsch." To the right is an engraving with a view of the city of Halle from the west with 17 sites listed: "Prospect of the city of HALLE as seen from the evening". The city coat of arms of Halle is emblazoned at the top centre of the illustration. On the far right is a lecture theatre, the Auditorium maximum, with spectators watching the handover of the sceptre from the old to the new prorector: "The large auditorium with the actu solemni of the creation of a new Prorectoris academiae magnifici." The top inscription on the city map contains a dedication to Professor Christian Wolff from Halle. The plan contains a legend 1-90, the view from 1-17.

Beschreibung: Stadtplan von Halle mit der genauen Verzeichnung der Saale sowie einem Register von 90 bedeutenden Orten der Stadt, die im Plan mit Zahlen beschrieben sind. Unter dem Stadtplan befinden sich mehrere kleine Darstellungen. Ganz links ist die Salzproduktion im Salzwerk zu sehen: "Durchschnitt einer Salz-Kothen, wie solche von innen anzusehen." Daneben ist die Förderung durch den Salzbrunnen zu beobachten: "Abbildung des Saltz Brunnens, Teutsch genannt." Rechts daneben folgt ein Stich mit einer Ansicht der Stadt Halle von Westen mit 17 verzeichneten Stätten: "Prospekt der Stadt HALLE wie solche von Abend anzusehen". Am oberen, mittleren Rand der Abbildung prangt das hallesche Stadtwappen. Ganz rechts ist ein Hörsaal, das Auditorium maximum, mit Zuschauern, die die Übergabe des Zepters vom alten an den neuen Prorektor beobachten: "Das große Auditorium mit dem actu solemni der creation eines neuen Prorectoris academiae magnifici".Die obere Inschrift im Stadtplan enthält eine Widmung an den hallischen Professor Christian Wolff. Der Plan enthält eine Legende 1-90, die Ansicht von 1-17.
