A mid 19th century J. C. Brown ripple front Steeple clock. 8-day time and strike movement stamped "Brewster & Ingrahams, Bristol, Conn" with a painted metal dial and Roman numerals. Rosewood case with applied ripple molding and turned finials over a single door with etched lower glass. Paper label 80% intact. Original finish with minor wear, small dial flakes, running when cataloged. 19 3/4" high. ESTIMATE $600-800
