Mughal style 18kt yellow gold slipper form brooch inlaid throughout with round faceted rubies accented by bands of single cut diamonds, and displaying a silver ball form ornament encrusted with round faceted sapphires of varying sizes. Apparently unmarked. Total approx. weight of the brooch is 6.4 dwt (gross). From a Mamaroneck, NY estate. Dimensions: brooch measures approx. 1.60" w x 0.67" h.
Condition Report: Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents. No definitive statement is being made as to whether colored gems are natural, synthetic or treated.
