Daniel Schoepflinus Consil. et Historiographus Gall. Regis [...]", collection stamp on verso Germanisches Nationalmuseum Nürnberg (Lugt no. 2809) as well as (Lugt no. 1076) and "Dupl. des Germ. Mus." (not in Lugt)

Date: c. 1750

Description: Typical portrait engraving showing the professor of history, eloquence and constitutional law at the University of Strasbourg. He was Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's teacher during his studies in Strasbourg.
