JOHN SHEDD Signed Handmade Artisan Pottery Vase

A handmade artisan pottery vase crafted by John Shedd. Spherical in shape with two uniquely shaped hand formed handles. Comprised of earth toned coloring with raised details along two decorative holes on either side. The underside is hand signed: SHEDD. Approx. Height 13 in. Approx. Width 11 in. Piece is weighty. Some History: ‘John Shedd received his BFA in Ceramics from Rockford College in Illinois. He completed his graduate studies and received an MFA in ceramics from Rochester Institute of Technology in New York in 1977. Since its origin in 1979, Clayphernlia gallery, now John Shedd Designs, has resided in a 200 year old converted mill in historic Rocky Hill, New Jersey.
