Jürgen Weber studied at the art academy in Stuttgart and also completed an apprenticeship as a bronze caster using the wax-melting process.
In 1961 he was appointed professor at TU Braunschweig and elected a corresponding member of the Academy of Arts of the GDR in 1978.
Weber worked as a professor at the Department of “Elementary Forms”, which he renamed, in the Department of Architecture until 2000. He created numerous sculptures in public spaces.Show more
