Contemporary edition on thick laid paper in good condition with the restoration of a small gap. Trimmed along the edge of the plate.

Extremely rare engraving. One of the greatest presentations of St. Martin, here as bishop of Tours, casting out the devil from a possessed man by putting his fingers in his mouth. Martin as bishop pointing to his robe at the presentation of the marriage of Mary and Joseph.
