An assortment of steamship blueprints, photographs, certificates, and maritime ephemera, includes an engineering formula book signed by Kahm.

Jacob Kahm (1823-1912) was an early Oregon steamboat pioneer on the Columbia River and its tributaries. He was the founder of the Oregon Steam Navigation Co. (1878), the Vancouver Transportation Co., and other navigational concerns.
