Antique Victorian Jaeger-LeCoultre Enamel 14 karat Yellow Gold Pocket Lapel Watch
Rare Jaeger-leCoultre pocket/lapel watch that would be definitely a conversational piece.
It was created in Switzerland in the 1890s.
Made of 14 karat (stamped) yellow gold and beautiful enamel and accented with rose cut diamonds.
The movement is original Jaeger-leCoultre manual hand-winded, numbered 9353. Beautiful dial with hand-painted enamel Arabic numerals hour markers and gold accents. The crown is made of 14 karat (tested) rose gold.
Lapel is made of 14 karat (tested), red enamel and accented with three old-mine cut diamonds. It looks like it was added to the watch later.
The watch is 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter and 3/8 inch (1 cm) thick. Lapel measures 1-1/8 x 1-1/8 inch (3 x 3 cm). The watch with the lapel measures 2-1/2 inches (6.3 cm) long.
Lapel can be worn separately as a clip pin.
The piece weighs 23.4 grams.
In great condition; wear consistent with age and use (please see pictures for details).
