Jaeger LeCoultre: A Rare Stainless Steel Royal Air Force Pilots Centre Seconds Wristwatch, signed Jaeger LeCoultre, model: Mark XI, issued in 1948, (calibre 488Sbr) manual wound lever movement signed and numbered 595273, movement with broad arrow, hacking seconds, dust cover, black dial with luminous Arabic hour markers, luminous cathedral hands, screw case back with broad arrow mark and military marks 6B/346 2168/48, inside back cover stamped LeCoultre Co Swiss, fixed bars between the lugs 35mm wide

Case with surface scratches, bezel and lugs with small dents to the edges visible under an eyeglass, later crown, later strap and buckle, glass with scratches, original dial finish with good patina, Arabic white hour markers are clear, luminous outer markers have evenly discoloured, hands withg luminous missing in parts, centre seconds hand with minor white enamel surface missing in parts, black dial surface with staining marks visible under an eyeglass, hand setting is not working at present and needs attention, winding smoothly, hacking seconds is working when pulling the crown out into the hand set position, seconds hand is jerking when moving around the dial, movement in going order. We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale.
