Don’t miss this opportunity and become the new owner of this timeless classic Jaguar Saloon! This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION. The Mark II was a four-door sports limousine, released by Jaguar in 1959 as successor of the Mark I, with 2. 4 and 3. 4 litre engine. Some details of the bodywork were improved and changed. Since then disc brakes were standard on all four wheels. The rear wheels were powered via a four-speed manual transmission (optional with overdrive or 3-speed automatic transmission) . This unit, however, was equipped in the past with the more powerful Jaguar 4. 2L engine with 265 HP. This Jaguar is in a relatively neat condition. The car starts immediately, shifts smoothly and powerfully through all gears and idles nicely. The car is very solid and has never been welded. The car was fitted with black lacquer about 15-20 years ago which has somewhat aged and shows traces of wear and some damage.
