The current owner has owned the Jaguar since 1999. The 6-cylinder 3. 4 XK engine was at the time the most powerful engine available in a Mark 1 and the most sought after version! The 3. 4 had a different grille for better cooling and a stronger rear axle. A total of 37,397 units of the Mark 1 were built versus the approximately 90,000 of the very popular Mark 2. Only a small number of Mark 1s remain, that makes the Mark 1 extra special! With the very sought after overdrive. Exterior and interior in nice patina condition.
