Jaguar - XJ6 - 1971

[ translate ]

This is the XJ by Jaguar, one of the British carmaker’s saloons par excellence, loved worldwide for its timeless elegance, sinuous design and a comfort that many modern cars still envy. The one offered here is a first series car, registered for the first time in 1971 with a 2800 cc in-line 6-cylinder engine and manual transmission with overdrive. The car offered here is in wonderful overall condition and is only used for ceremonies, elegant parades and rallies in the warm and sunny Sicily. The light blue body, restored in 2014 by professionals specialised in vintage cars, is in very good condition, free from rust, shiny, with fully renovated chrome parts and good bottom. The interior, with Connolly leather seats and burr wood inserts, is complete and original in every part and does not require any work because a preservative restoration has been recently carried out. Regular and efficient maintenance with last mechanical check-up carried out in 2018, during which auxiliary belts and spark plugs were replaced and steering box, carburettors, brake master cylinder and shock absorber rubbers were completely overhauled. The 2 fuel pumps are fully functional. Equipped with a factory original tool kit and instruction manual. The documents are ready for the transfer of ownership. The car runs and is ready to be used. 3 previous owners. Transport option through a company specialised in national and international transport, with costs charged to the buyer. The car will be delivered with a valid inspection just carried out. Transfer of ownership and deregistration for export are also at buyer’s expense. It can be viewed in Villafrati (PA) , Italy.
