Jaguar - XJR-6 - 1995

[ translate ]

Jaguar XJR-6 from 1995.

As a collector, I'm parting with this beautiful 1st set XJR, the most desirable, one of 6,497 units and one of 225 in the official "Turquoise Met" presentation colour.

This model is powered by a 4. 0L 6-cylinder in-line compressor engine delivering 321 bhp, mated to a 4-speed automatic gearbox.

This is a European model that was exported to a Japanese collector when it left the factory. It was then bought by a Dutch enthusiast in Amsterdam who works in the F1 Incentive sector and who brought it back to Europe in 2016.

As a matter of fact, this XJR was only used as a pleasure car, which explains its low mileage.
The car still has a Dutch vehicle registration certificate, so all documents that come with it are in Dutch, including the "Deel II" export documents that will allow it to be registered in any European country.

The underbody shows no visible corrosion, the front and rear bonnets have already been repainted, but the car does not show any signs that it has been involved in a previous accident. This is probably cosmetic work as there are three tiny scratches on the bonnet varnish, which can be seen if you look closely.

The radio connections need to be replaced (one speaker is crackling) , as does the dashboard clock (faulty lighting, which is a Jaguar problem) . The cost of replacement is estimated at approx €70.)

The headliner has been consolidated but could be rebuilt.
Though there are a few prongs on the woodwork, the leather is in impeccable condition, and the doorsills are still in stock.

The electronic systems are all operational.

It comes with a number of invoices, the most important of which is the 2019 invoice amounting to nearly €4,000 for compressor overhaul, air conditioning and logbooks.
