Jaguar - XJR6 - 1996

[ translate ]

Valid MOT of 18. 09. 2020 - 195,000 km, progressive - French car registration in my name. No mechanical problems: it has just come back from a major service costing €2500 and done by a Jaguar specialist in Tournai, Belgium. A lot of expenses in 5 years: exhaust manifold replaced (the disease) , automatic transmission and shock absorber support, new tyres and brakes, new headliner, belts, spark plugs, coils, fluids & filters, belts & rollers, Eaton compressor refurbished with Power. House parts + reinforced crankshaft kit for more power, silent blocks, new radiator and air conditioning dryer. . . I forget some things: more than 12,000 euros of expenses in 5 years. Known background: purchased new in Luxembourg, it spent its life in Parisian. I've owned it for five years. Numerous invoices. Everything works on it except for the heated seats, which work randomly, and the air conditioning compressor, which is tired despite being replaced. The speakers should also be replaced for a better sound quality. The leather interior is in good original condition: no holes or tears. Radio, CD charger, mirrors, power seats and windows: everything is ok. The automatic transmission works perfectly, transmission and axle drains OK. There are no missing parts. This vehicle comes with a copy of the keys, a logbook, a vintage promotional catalogue, a binder containing all the invoices and an original Jaguar cover. The body and chassis are sound and rust free. The colour still has a nice depth but the vehicle was driven in Paris for a few years and bears some scars. This vehicle can be viewed and test-driven in Lille. Possibility to do part of the way to the buyer if really serious, after discussions. Mechanical configuration taken from the Aston Martin DB7 phase 1: the latest 6-cylinder in-line Jaguar AJ16 in its best supercharged version, not to be confused with an XJ6 3. 2 Sport, which is actually up-market version of the XJ. Less than 5000 copies of the XJR6 were produced. Rare burgundy red / magnolia leather configuration. I would like to entrust it to an experienced enthusiast. This vehicle can be viewed in Lambersart, France.
