Jaguar - XJS - 1990

[ translate ]

Being offered for sale is a beautiful Jaguar XJS V12 convertible, built in 1990, with only a genuine 47,622 miles. The vehicle was imported only this year by us personally from California, and is from an enthusiast. As such, there are of course various invoices and history. According to Carfax, accident-free. As is usual, the body/underbody has zero rust/corrosion thanks to the constantly dry climate of California and scrupulously being stored in a hangar, plus the paintwork, apart from three truly harmless bits of damage to the paint (in the area of the wheel arches) + a small dent on the left wing (see the last four photos) , is in a good condition, as can be seen in the latest shots. All in all, the car appears to be in a well-cared for and original condition, and with the original tarpaulin has survived entirely intact. As you would expect for its age of 28 years, the leather has only a little patina and the burl wood has fine cracks in one area, but this doesn’t detract from it as a whole and are indeed authentic for its age. Apart from this, the classical interior of the XJS is also in an overall nice condition, all of the electric gadgets work! There is no major or significant damage requiring urgent restoration work. The engine and (automatic) transmission are sound, which is consistent with the condition of the vehicle, offering the unmistakable performance of a real V12 Jaguar engine. The vehicle being offered here, still currently has the American registration (US title) and for a German registration, requires a so-called TüV approval in accordance with § 23/21 St. VZO. The car can, on request, be viewed locally in Aachen / NRW.
